Katrina Clark, MSW, CSWA
I was raised in Hawaii and moved to Portland in 2017. I received my Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work from Hawaii Pacific University, and I am registered with the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers as a Clinical Social Work Associate.
Over the years I have enjoyed working with clients of all ages, addressing needs in various settings. I truly believe that mental wellness is for everyone and my hope is to make therapy a more accessible, less stigmatized practice in everyday life.
In my practice, I utilize warmth, strength-based, and a holistic lens, viewing the mind-body-spirit connection as integral in understanding who you are as a whole person. I will meet you where you are and provide a safe place to explore your relationship with yourself, and feel empowered to reaching your goals. I integrate body-based alternative interventions such as breath, movement and meditation with traditional therapies including cognitive behavior, solution-focused and person-centered techniques.
Aside from being a therapist.... I am also a veteran, a wife and a mother. I enjoy running and hiking with my pup labrador, traveling, reading and spending time with my family. I also value therapy for my own personal healing and growth. My path to recovery has become my mission to encourage others to create a life worth celebrating and to help them turn every adversity into their biggest opportunity.
